Senior Product Manager — AI / Marketplace
Location: New York, NY or San Francisco, CA
Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days/week
Compensation: $150,000–$250,000 + equity
A rapidly growing AI and technology company is building the operating system for the modern industrial supply chain — connecting businesses, workers, data, and intelligent software to make complex physical operations more efficient.
The company began by solving critical workforce challenges for industrial businesses and has expanded into AI-powered software that helps logistics providers, manufacturers, 3PLs, and other businesses automate manual workflows, surface insights, and make better operational decisions.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the team and help build products at the intersection of marketplaces, industrial operations, and AI.
There are opportunities across two areas:
Staffing & Marketplace
Own and evolve a core staffing marketplace serving both enterprise customers and workers.
You will:
Own product strategy across staffing, marketplace, and operational workflows.
Solve complex marketplace problems involving supply, demand, matching, fulfillment, and reliability.
Partner closely with engineering, design, data, and operations teams to build and ship products.
Use data to identify opportunities and answer critical marketplace and customer questions.
Build internal tools and technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and scale.
Launch and iterate products across customers, regions, and different operating environments.
Work directly with customers and field teams to understand real-world operational challenges.
AI & Agentic Products
Join an early team building the next generation of AI-powered software for industrial businesses.
You will:
Own product strategy for AI-powered agentic workflows.
Identify high-value customer workflows that can be automated through AI.
Work directly with customers and design partners to rapidly validate and prototype new products.
Partner closely with product engineers and ML teams to build production AI systems.
Design AI agents that can understand context, reason through ambiguity, use tools, maintain context, and execute meaningful work.
Define product behavior, evaluation frameworks, and quality standards for reliable AI systems.
Develop a strong understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and system architecture.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and user experiences.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for product leaders who thrive in high-growth, high-ownership startup environments.
Depending on the product area, relevant experience may include:
Product management experience in a startup or rapidly growing technology company.
Marketplace, logistics, staffing, supply chain, or other complex operational products.
Experience building AI-powered products, LLM applications, workflow automation, or agentic systems.
Demonstrated 0-to-1 product development experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work closely with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs.
Excellent customer instincts and the ability to translate ambiguous problems into practical products.
A track record of personally driving products from concept through launch and iteration.
For the AI-focused position, hands-on experience building production AI/LLM products or agentic workflows is particularly important.
Environment
This is an in-person, high-intensity startup environment where product, engineering, operations, and leadership work closely together.
The team works primarily from the office Monday through Thursday, generally around 9 AM–7 PM, with Friday schedules typically ending earlier. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, and many team members choose to stay later to work together and have dinner.
This opportunity is best suited for someone who enjoys being close to the team, moving quickly, taking significant ownership, and working directly on challenging problems.
New York and San Francisco locations available. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who require it.
