Subsidiary Payments Sales Manager - Senior Associate

As a Payments Sales Manager Associate in the Payments Corporate Sales team, you will develop new business and support day-to-day relationship management for a portfolio of corporate clients within the Subsidiary Payments Sales vertical. You will build and execute a disciplined selling strategy in partnership with product and subsidiary banking/coverage teams to deliver client outcomes and grow the pipeline. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize delivery and support ongoing client engagement. You will develop a strong understanding of client operating structures, buying processes, and objectives to position Payments solutions effectively.
Job Responsibilities
Deepen and grow existing client relationships through proactive engagement and disciplined follow-up
Support portfolio growth by assisting senior sales managers with sales execution and client engagement activities
Develop new profitable business from prospective clients by identifying needs and proposing solutions
Document deal solutions and proposals and prepare materials for client presentations and negotiations
Manage proposal development and the end-to-end sales process, including competitive requests for information and proposals
Partner with product stakeholders by representing the client perspective in the development and evolution of products and solutions
Understand client goals, operating environments, strategies, and trends to identify requirements and uncover new business opportunities across the full product suite—traditional cash management, trade & working capital, liquidity, foreign exchange, commercial card, and merchant acquiring.
Monitor and update the Sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
Support the development and maintenance of account plans and documentation for account reviews and strategy sessions
Operate with a risk-based mindset with strict adherence to compliance, controls, and quality standards
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience in cash management, sales, and relationship management
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Knowledge and understanding of Payments products
Ability to assess opportunities and engage key decision makers
Strong creative solutioning and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation skills
Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners –Sales, Product Management, Client Service, Global Corporate Bank, Investment Banking and Implementations
