Role Description
We are looking for a ServiceNow SIR/VR Developer with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant ServiceNow development experience to join our team in Hyderabad.. This is a full-time, work-from-office role.
The role will focus on the design, development, configuration, customization, and implementation of ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules.
• Develop and maintain workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, and other ServiceNow components.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs and other integration technologies.
• Develop solutions using JavaScript and Glide scripting.
• Configure security workflows, forms, notifications, dashboards, and related platform components.
• Work with security and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow application and integration issues.
• Participate in development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Follow ServiceNow development standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of ServiceNow SIR/VR implementations.
Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant ServiceNow development experience. Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with strong experience in SIR and VR.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide scripting.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, and Workflows/Flow Designer.
• Experience developing and supporting REST API integrations.
• Good understanding of Vulnerability Response processes and security incident management.
• Experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and client-facing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-SIR, or CIS-VR.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools and vulnerability management platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
