The Candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting activities of Red Fort Capital NBFC and other group companies. This will include maintaining financial records, data entry, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management and external stakeholders
Prepare budgets and forecasts to aid in financial planning and decision-making
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws(Income tax and GST), and other relevant regulations
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with audit requirements
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management on key financial decisions
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Manage and reconcile inter-company accounts
Manage collection from borrowers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in commerce or accounting
Relevant work experience in accounting (Tally), preferably in an NBFC or financial services industry
Good understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
B.com, M.com, BBA, BAF or other relevant educations.
Experience with NBFC accounting and regulatory compliance
Familiarity with Tally ERP or other financial software
Experience with financial analysis and reporting
