Essential Functions
Learn EMC software development practices, tools, and standards
Assist with development and maintenance of assigned applications
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution activities
Assist with review and updates to technical application documentation
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities
Education & Experience
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field
Junior standing preferred
Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred
Demonstrated interest in software development through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic understanding of programming concepts
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $19.50-$23.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
