Role Description The Interior Design Intern will support the design team in developing residential interiors that align with Loftsify’s human-centric philosophy. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards and material palettes, and supporting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection. The intern will help with drawings, layouts, and basic 3D visualizations, as well as site visits for measurements, progress checks, and installation coordination. Additional tasks include preparing client presentations, organizing samples, maintaining project documentation, and collaborating with designers, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is preserved.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in space planning and basic interior layout development.
Candidates should possess foundational interior design skills, including concept development and material selection.
Candidates should possess an understanding of furniture design/selection and FF&E coordination.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and project teams.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is preferred.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive studio culture.
