Engineering and Technology / Technician

Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team-player to assist senior designers and engineers in field evaluations of equipment and piping systems, developing 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for engineering work packages.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Field evaluation and measurements of existing piping systems
3D AutoCAD design of piping, equipment, structures
2D AutoCAD drawings of plans, elevations, and isometrics
Assist in development of evaluation reports
Ability to embrace emerging technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Studying for a 2 or 4-year engineering or technology degree
Experience:
No prior experience needed
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Required
Hands On:
Experience with measuring, building, constructing
Management:
No management experience required
Other Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional Development Opportunities:

Exposure to basics of piping design codes (ASME B31.3 or ASME B31.1)
Learn new programs such as Revit, Bluebeam, Autodesk Plant 3D
