Data Analyst – Active Secret Clearance | Full-Time, 6-Month Project

Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 annualized equivalent, depending on experience. Consensus Solutions is open to either W-2 salaried or W-2 hourly employment for this six-month position.
About the role
Consensus Solutions, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to support a Department of Defense training and education needs-assessment effort.
This is a full-time temporary position supporting a project currently scheduled through March 2027. The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel and on-site support at Government locations as required. Travel may include domestic or international locations. Continuation beyond the current project may be possible based on future company needs, but is not guaranteed.
Primary responsibilities
Collect, organize, clean, structure, and analyze information supporting a military training and education needs assessment.
Maintain linked datasets covering organizations, mission requirements, training outcomes, courses, and related assessment information.
Build crosswalks connecting customer requirements and training outcomes to available courses and activities.
Analyze training audience demand, course availability, capacity, throughput, gaps, overlaps, and related trends.
Support calculations of staffing, workload, facilities, and funding needs using documented inputs and assumptions.
Identify missing information, inconsistencies, duplicate records, and other data-quality issues; coordinate follow-up with the team.
Produce clear tables, charts, summaries, and other analytical outputs for reports and briefings.
Maintain source references, calculation documentation, and quality controls so findings can be checked and reproduced.
Prepare organized raw data and native, editable analytical models for Government delivery, including workbooks with formulas intact.
Required qualifications
U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or higher.
Experience performing data analysis in a DoD, Federal, consulting, research, or similarly complex environment.
Strong Excel and data-management skills, including formulas, structured datasets, and data-quality checks.
Experience combining and analyzing information from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
Ability to identify patterns, gaps, inconsistencies, and limitations and explain their implications clearly.
Experience producing useful tables, charts, and analytical summaries, with careful documentation and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
Experience building crosswalks or traceability models across multiple source datasets.
Training, education, manpower, readiness, workforce, or requirements-analysis experience.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, or comparable tools; no particular platform beyond Excel is required.
