Role Description This is a full-time Physiotherapist role in a hybrid work arrangement, with primary responsibilities based on-site in Dehradun and some work-from-home tasks as appropriate. The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to support pain management, mobility, and functional recovery. Daily activities include conducting detailed physical examinations, documenting clinical findings, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans in coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves educating patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, and prevention strategies, along with maintaining accurate records and adhering to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Recognized degree or diploma in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution, with current registration or eligibility to register with the relevant professional council.
Strong clinical assessment skills, including evaluation of musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions, and the ability to design appropriate treatment plans.
Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy modalities, and rehabilitation protocols for inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ability to educate patients and families on home exercise programs, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care in clear, understandable language.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working within multidisciplinary teams and building trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Good documentation and organizational skills, including maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
Comfort with basic digital tools and hospital information systems to manage appointments, records, and tele-consultations as needed in a hybrid work model.
Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care; prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an advantage.
