Product Manager

About the Role
BigStep is seeking an experienced Product Manager with 6–8 years of experience to lead the strategy and execution of AI/ML-driven, data-centric products. This role requires strong product ownership, deep customer understanding, and the ability to align cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead deep discovery to understand user pain points, behaviors, and workflows; define user personas and end-to-end customer journeys
Own product strategy and roadmap, translating business objectives into clear epics, features, and well-defined user stories
Define, track, and analyze product success metrics and KPIs aligned with business and customer outcomes
Author high-quality PRDs, clearly outlining problem statements, scope, dependencies, and success criteria
Drive end-to-end product execution—from ideation and validation to launch, iteration, and scale
Manage and prioritize the product backlog; lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile environments
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs; make data-informed decisions to keep delivery on track
Communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and key decisions to leadership and senior stakeholders
Qualifications
6–8 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within AI/ML, data-intensive, or SaaS platforms
Proven experience writing comprehensive PRDs, managing complex backlogs, and driving execution in cross-functional Agile teams
Analytical and outcome-driven mindset with experience defining and measuring product impact using KPIs and metrics
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence presenting to leadership and technical audiences
Hands-on experience with product and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Slack, and Google Workspace
Strong understanding of AI fundamentals, ML concepts, and technical architectures, enabling effective collaboration with engineering and data teams
Prior hands-on development experience or solid technical background (good to have), with understanding of APIs, system design, databases, and software development lifecycle.
