Experience: Minimum 5 years
Salary: ₹40,000/month onwards, negotiable
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lab Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, coordination and business growth of our diagnostic laboratory.
The candidate need not be a technical laboratory professional. Professionals from diagnostic marketing, diagnostic equipment companies, healthcare business development, or diagnostic chain management are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall laboratory operations and patient flow.
Supervise phlebotomy and home sample collection operations.
Manage home collection bookings, scheduling and coordination.
Ensure smooth communication between OPD, Reception, Phlebotomy, Laboratory and Report Delivery teams.
Monitor sample collection, report delivery and TAT.
Identify and resolve interdepartmental communication and operational gaps.
Manage and motivate the phlebotomy and support teams.
Drive diagnostic business growth, including OPD conversion, home collection and external referrals.
Develop relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals, corporates and other referral partners.
Coordinate with diagnostic equipment vendors and service providers.
Monitor revenue, test volumes, productivity and operational MIS.
Ensure a high-quality, patient-centric diagnostic experience.
Knowledge about NABH is a plus point.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in diagnostics/healthcare.
Experience in diagnostic marketing, equipment marketing/sales, diagnostic centre operations or diagnostic chain management preferred.
Strong communication, coordination and team-management skills.
Strong business development and relationship-management abilities.
Good understanding of diagnostic operations and patient journey.
Technical laboratory qualification is not mandatory.
