Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on orders, capacity and delivery commitments.
Prepare machine-wise and process-wise production schedules.
Monitor Plan vs Actual production and take corrective action for delays.
Track machine capacity, utilization, WIP and production bottlenecks.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch teams.
Ensure availability of raw materials required for planned production.
Prioritize jobs and optimize machine loading, sequencing and changeovers.
Track production orders from release to finished goods and dispatch.
Prepare production MIS and reports including capacity, efficiency, WIP, downtime and schedule adherence.
Identify bottlenecks and implement measures to improve productivity and reduce delays/wastage.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in PPC / Production Control.
Excellent knowledge of production scheduling and capacity planning.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
Strong analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Industry Experience
Paper manufacturing, corrugated boxes, folding cartons, printing & packaging, paper conversion or similar manufacturing environments.
Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Production, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Important: Candidates must have hands-on production planning and shop-floor execution experience, not just MIS/reporting or administrative PPC experience.
