The brand has been featured in Vogue, Allure, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan. As a family-owned, female-founded company, Skin Gym offers a dynamic environment for creative professionals interested in beauty, wellness, and digital storytelling.
Role Description This is a full-time role (hybrid schedule) for a Social Media Manager. The role involves planning, creating content, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms.
• Own the social media strategy and content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
• Write all copy and captions, and ideate campaigns from concept through execution
• Brief and direct video editing and design work to bring campaigns to life
Qualifications
• 4+ years of social media experience with a consumer brand, ideally in beauty or a related category• Experience mentoring or managing junior team members, freelancers, or creators is a plus
• Proven ability to build and execute a cross-channel content strategy that drives real growth
• Strong copywriting and community management instincts
• Strong with social analytics tools (e.g. Dash Social, Sprout Social) to guide strategy, and comfortable with creative tools (Canva, CapCut, Figma)
• Based in Los Angeles, with the ability to work in-person 3+ days per week (photoshoots, events, meetings with founders)

You understand how to make beauty content feel elevated but approachable, and you know the difference between content that looks good and content that performs.
