Sourcing Lead III

The Sourcing Lead III is a strategic sourcing expert who leads complex procurement initiatives, advises client
executives, and drives innovation and transformation. This senior role combines deep category expertise with
leadership and stakeholder management to deliver high-impact sourcing outcomes and long-term value.
Essential Functions:
Strategic Leadership
• Design and lead high-impact sourcing strategies for complex, high-value categories.
• Align sourcing initiatives with broader client business objectives and procurement transformation
goals.
Executive Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and procurement leadership,
such as VP, SVP, EVP, Head of, etc.
• Present sourcing strategies, business cases, and performance outcomes to executive audiences.
• Influence stakeholders throughout key decisions and processes.
Advanced Supplier Strategy
• Lead strategic supplier negotiations, including multi-year agreements, risk mitigation, and innovation
- Develop supplier segmentation strategies and performance scorecards.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
• Identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance sourcing effectiveness.
• Drive adoption of digital sourcing tools, automation, and analytics.
Team & Program Leadership
• Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and mentor sourcing leads at all levels.
• Contribute to the development of sourcing playbooks, governance frameworks, and client-specific
practices
8+ years of strategic sourcing experience, including leadership roles.
Deep expertise in category management and supplier strategy.
Proven success in client advisory or procurement consulting roles.
Advanced procurement certifications and/or MBA preferred.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills
