The Role - Business Development Manager – Sportsbook, LATAM
We’re seeking an exceptional Head of Business Development to drive new commercial opportunities across the sportsbook and betting sectors in Latin America.
This is a high-impact revenue-driving role for someone who thrives on closing deals, hitting ambitious targets, and building solution-oriented partnerships. You’ll be responsible for identifying new prospects, understanding their business challenges, and matching Genius Sports’ products and services to deliver value. While he/she will be an individual contributor in the near term, the ideal candidate will be expected to manage and lead a team of business development professionals over the long term.
The ideal candidate is experienced, strategic and adept at dealmaking. This is someone who has a robust existing network, can open new doors, and close six and seven-figure deals. You’ll be comfortable working independently, while also collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver winning solutions for our betting partners. While you don’t need a technical background, you must have a strong understanding of the betting ecosystem, be able to quickly understand our products, and communicate their value confidently to senior decision-makers in the Latin American betting market.
This role requires you to immerse yourself in the betting industry, stay on top of market developments, and represent Genius Sports with energy and credibility at conferences, meetings, and industry events across Latin America.

What You’ll Bring
Proven success in B2B consultative sales, with a strong track record of consistently hitting or exceeding challenging revenue targets
Existing experience within the Betting industry or selling to Betting clients in LATAM
Fluency in both Spanish & English languages; Portuguese fluency is a bonus
Experience closing six-figure (or higher) deals on a consistent basis
A results-oriented mindset with high-energy and positive attitude
A competitive spirit, resilience and a deep motivation to win
Strong commercial creativity and deal-making skills, with the ability to structure and close complex partnerships
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including confidence engaging with and presenting to C-suite executives
Solid numerical, analytical, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
A collaborative team player who enjoys working with like-minded, sports-obsessed colleagues
