Title: Health Information Assistant
Job Duties: The Health Information Manager/Supervisor/Designee provides support to staff and the HIM Department by assisting with monitoring and maintaining complete Health Records of all persons served. Accuracy and thoroughness are important, as they may affect the legal liability of the facility. Ensures professional contact with all levels of staff and stakeholders, including persons served and families. The Health Information Assistant reports to the Health Information Coordinator, works closely with the Director of Nursing, Program Director/Clinical Directors, and other department heads. The Health Information Assistant receives consultation, advice, training, and mentorship in technical record matters from the Health Information Coordinator, in addition to our corporate Health Information Department, as required by program-specific regulations.

Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent
A minimum of one year of experience working in a health-related field
Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of governing regulations

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.
Pay Range:
$23—$23.93 USD
