Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for:
This role is for engineering tech who will design and checkout burnin PCB boards on HTOL ovens. Work will also involve testing IC on different tester platforms for qualification and customer samples.
Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype burnin boards per TI Spec
Applications may include analog, circuits, logic systems, and packaging.
Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
Create purchase requests / orders to support customer and business team needs.
Minimum requirements:
Associates degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Strong time management skills
