Role Description The Site Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhagalpur. The person in this role will oversee daily construction activities, ensure work is carried out according to engineering drawings and specifications, and coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and vendors. Responsibilities include monitoring quality control on-site, checking materials and workmanship, resolving technical issues, and reporting progress to project managers. The Site Engineer will support structural and civil engineering implementation, ensure adherence to safety standards, and assist in planning and scheduling site work.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision abilities and practical experience working at construction sites.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Candidates should possess quality control skills, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and adherence to standards.
Candidates should possess structural engineering knowledge applicable to building and infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess civil engineering fundamentals, including understanding of drawings, specifications, and site execution.
Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Working knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and basic project documentation.
Experience with site measurements, basic surveying, and use of common engineering tools is beneficial.
Prior experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
