Volunteer IT Support and Security Officer

El Camí de la Solidaritat is launching the world’s first Digital Incubator for grassroots NGOs empowering them to tackle critical issues like climate change, poverty, and gender inequality with sustainable, high-impact solutions. To fuel this mission, we are seeking a dedicated IT Support & Security Officer to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of our digital infrastructure.
What You Will Do:
IT Support: Provide first-level remote technical support to staff and volunteers, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Information Security: Monitor cybersecurity controls, administer user access rights, enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA), and promote security awareness.
Systems Administration: Manage cloud-based collaboration tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, oversee data backups, and apply security patches.
Compliance: Maintain the confidentiality of stakeholder information and assist with technology-related risk assessments.
We are looking for someone who possesses:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of endpoint security, password management, and cloud technologies.
A degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity, with professional certifications (such as CompTIA Security+ or Google Workspace Administrator) highly desired.
Location within the GMT to GMT+4 time zones.
