I. Position Overview
The Creative Director is responsible for formulating and leading the company's overall creative strategy. They ensure consistency in brand visuals, content, advertising, and marketing communications across various channels and markets, effectively supporting the company's brand and business objectives.
This role oversees creative direction, brand expression, advertising concepts, content development, and creative project management. The Creative Director collaborates closely with marketing, branding, product, and sales teams, as well as external creative agencies, to translate business goals into impactful and cohesive creative content.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Strategy
Formulate annual and long-term creative strategies and development directions.
Translate brand strategies and business objectives into concrete creative concepts.
Establish a unified creative vision and creative standards.
Evaluate market trends, consumer behavior, and industry creative trends.
Continuously enhance the brand's creative performance and market recognition.
2. Brand Creative Management
Oversee brand visual language, brand tone of voice, and creative expression.
Ensure advertising, digital content, social media, and marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines.
Participate in brand positioning, brand revitalization, and the development of the brand's visual identity system.
Develop and maintain brand creative guidelines.
Ensure consistent brand expression across different markets and channels.
3. Advertising and Marketing Creativity
Lead the creative planning and execution of advertising campaigns.
Oversee the review of creative concepts, visual direction, copywriting, and content strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign creative briefs.
Supervise the creative quality of advertising, video, print, digital, and social media content.
Continuously optimize campaign creative performance based on marketing objectives.
4. Content Creativity and Production
Oversee the creative development of brand content, commercial content, and marketing collateral.
Manage creative production projects, including photography, video, animation, design, and copywriting.
Review final creative work to ensure quality meets brand standards.

5. Creative Team Management
Recruit, develop, and manage designers, copywriters, art directors, and other creative talent.

Allocate creative resources appropriately based on project needs. 6. Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with external advertising agencies, design firms, and production companies.
Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of creative projects.
7. Creative Quality and Process Management
Establish creative review and quality control processes.
Define timelines, delivery standards, and review milestones for creative projects.
Manage priorities across multiple campaigns and creative projects.
Identify risks, resource constraints, and budget issues in creative production.
Continuously optimize creative workflows and production efficiency.
8. Innovation and Trend Research
Stay abreast of trends in design, advertising, digital media, AI, and content.
Explore new creative technologies, marketing channels, and content formats.
Drive the effective application of AI and digital tools in creative production.
Enhance the impact of brand content through innovative approaches.
III. Qualifications
Over 20 years of experience in creative, advertising, branding, design, content, or related fields.
Over 8 years of experience in creative team management or creative leadership.
Experience with brand building, advertising campaigns, or integrated marketing projects.
Strong visual aesthetics, creative thinking, and business acumen.
Ability to translate abstract business goals into concrete creative solutions.
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple creative projects and production teams simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
