Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Credit Manager role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Branch Credit Manager will oversee the credit assessment process for home loan applications, including financial analysis, verification of applicant information, and evaluation of creditworthiness in line with company policies. Responsibilities include managing branch-level credit operations, ensuring adherence to risk management and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining clear documentation for all credit decisions. The role involves close coordination with branch sales teams, operations, and senior management to ensure timely loan approvals and portfolio quality. The Branch Credit Manager will also monitor existing loan accounts, identify early warning signals, and support process improvements to strengthen the branch’s credit performance.
Qualifications
Strong credit management capabilities, including Credit Management and Credit Risk Management skills.
Solid understanding of Finance and Credit concepts relevant to housing finance and retail lending.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risk, and make sound credit decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification in finance or risk management is an advantage.
Experience in housing finance, retail lending, or banking, preferably in credit or risk-focused roles.
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements applicable to housing finance companies.
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area, manage branch-level responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on ethical and transparent decision-making.
