Claims Adjuster

Pay : $40/hr - $45/hr
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Field Adjuster that can appraise and/or adjust automotive physical damage caused by weather - including hail, windstorms, tornados, hurricanes, and flooding. This position is for a contract employee from the months of March through July. The ideal candidate must be able to travel on short notice to various locations within the US to lead or assist with dealership catastrophe losses with extended overnight and weekend travel.
The Work Itself
Prepare estimates and reach agreed prices for repairs on insured vehicles.
Handle catastrophe losses as directed by claim management.
Initiate the total loss handling process for conclusion by the Claim Offices.
May handle sale of salvage and subrogation investigation as assigned by the Claim Office.
Qualifications
Must be proficient with CCC One estimating system
Background as an Auto Body Shop technician, Claims Adjuster, PDR Tech, etc. is strongly preferred.
Experience assessing automotive physical damage is needed, particularly with PDR
Typically requires serviceable knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Insurance licensing in your home state is a must, with licenses in other states also being preferable
Work Schedule: Besides time spent traveling, a full day working a catastrophe loss may range from 8 hours to 12+ hours a day and includes both weekdays and weekends.
