Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai at the VST Grandeur Jaguar Land Rover showroom. This role involves engaging prospective and existing customers, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable Jaguar and Land Rover models, features, and financing options. The Sales Specialist will manage the entire sales cycle, including test drives, negotiation, documentation, and coordination with the service and finance teams to ensure a smooth delivery experience. Daily responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, following up on leads, building long-term customer relationships, and meeting sales targets while upholding brand standards. The role also includes participating in showroom events, sales promotions, and ongoing training to stay current with new models, technologies, and market trends.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients respectfully, build trust, and provide a premium showroom experience.
Proven Sales and Sales Management abilities to handle the full sales cycle, achieve targets, and maintain accurate records in CRM or similar tools.
Experience in Training or a willingness to participate in continuous learning to stay updated on Jaguar Land Rover products and features.
Prior experience in automotive retail or luxury brands is highly beneficial.
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Basic understanding of financing, insurance, and vehicle registration processes is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, including weekends and peak business hours as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience may be considered.
