Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day plant and office operations, including production planning, workflow coordination, resource allocation, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role will monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as production, procurement, logistics, and quality to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include supervising staff, resolving operational issues, preparing reports for senior management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
Strong operations management skills, including production planning, process optimization, and workflow coordination.
Experience with inventory control, supply chain coordination, and vendor management in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Ability to implement and maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards, with attention to detail and risk management.
Proficiency in using ERP or other operations-related software, along with solid data analysis and reporting skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
Prior experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within manufacturing or industrial operations is highly preferred.
