Role Description The Facilities Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, responsible for overseeing day-to-day facility operations across client locations or company sites. This role includes planning and supervising housekeeping activities, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring machinery and equipment are operated safely and efficiently. The Facilities Operations Manager will monitor preventive maintenance schedules, manage service vendors and manpower, and implement facility management (FM) standards and compliance procedures. In addition, the role involves tracking operational performance, optimizing resource utilization, resolving facility-related issues promptly, and collaborating with stakeholders to support a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Facilities Operations and Facility Management (FM) skills, including oversight of building systems, services, and compliance.
Candidates should possess Operations Management skills, with experience in planning, coordinating, and optimizing day-to-day facility workflows.
Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills to lead teams, manage service staff, and coordinate vendors and contractors effectively.
Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills, with the ability to schedule, track, and improve maintenance programs for equipment and infrastructure.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field are beneficial.
Experience in industrial services, housekeeping operations, or machinery management is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work on-site in Pune and manage multiple priorities.
