Role Description<

The Facilities Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, safety, and maintenance of HubbleHut’s office facilities. This role manages building services, including housekeeping, security, utilities, and vendor coordination, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. The Facilities Manager monitors facility performance, handles preventive and corrective maintenance, manages space planning, and supports office moves and reconfigurations. The role includes preparing and tracking budgets for facilities-related expenses, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and implementing health, safety, and environmental standards. The Facilities Manager collaborates closely with HR, Operations, and IT to support employee experience, office events, and continuous improvement of workplace infrastructure.
Qualifications
Facilities operations and maintenance skills, including oversight of building services, preventive maintenance, and workplace safety.
Vendor and contractor management experience, covering negotiation, service-level monitoring, and contract administration.
Space planning and office infrastructure skills, such as layout optimization, asset management, and support for office moves and expansions.
Budgeting and cost control capabilities, including tracking facilities expenses, optimizing operational costs, and reporting to management.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, and experience implementing compliance procedures and emergency preparedness plans.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with standard office and facilities management software; familiarity with basic building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience managing office facilities or corporate workplaces is preferred.
