SOCAPS is looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to support a leading international company specializing in advanced packaging automation and end-of-line systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians who enjoy traveling, working with complex automated equipment, and supporting customers in the packaging industry.
What You’ll Work With
Technicians may support a variety of packaging and end-of-line automation equipment, including:
Case Packers & Case Packing Systems
Case Erectors
Case Sealers
Palletizers & Depalletizers
Robotic Palletizing Systems
Conveyors & Automated Material Handling Systems
Stretch Wrappers
Labeling Systems
Packaging & End-of-Line Automation
Automated Storage & Material Handling Systems
Industrial Robots and Automated Equipment
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated packaging equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, motors, and industrial control systems.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Support equipment startups, commissioning, and customer training.
Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues and maintain equipment performance.
Complete service reports and communicate technical findings to the customer and engineering teams.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience working with industrial automation, packaging machinery, or automated material-handling systems.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, preferably Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and/or Siemens.
Experience with robotics, conveyors, palletizers, case packing equipment, or other packaging automation.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer facilities.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex equipment in the field.
