Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The role involves managing existing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the end-to-end sales cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating with internal production and logistics teams, following up on orders, and ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. The Account Executive will maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and contract documentation, while monitoring payment collections and resolving billing or service issues. The role also includes preparing regular sales reports, participating in client meetings and site visits as needed, and contributing to sales planning and revenue targets.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, handle negotiations, and maintain long-term accounts.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in basic sales administration, including documentation, reporting, and use of office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM or sales tracking systems).
Understanding of industrial or manufacturing environments; experience in rail, infrastructure, or related sectors is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for pricing, cost analysis, and payment tracking.
