Cyber Security Intern – Training & Workshops
Hack & Learn Cyber Academy is hiring a Cyber Security Intern to assist with cybersecurity training programs, workshops, practical demonstrations, and laboratory sessions.
The selected candidate will work with our trainers and gain practical experience in cybersecurity while developing technical presentation and communication skills. Based on demonstrated capability, the intern may gradually conduct selected training sessions and workshops independently.
Responsibilities
• Assist trainers during cybersecurity classes and workshops.
• Support practical demonstrations and hands-on laboratory sessions.
• Assist students with cybersecurity exercises and basic technical questions.
• Help prepare training materials and practical exercises.
• Conduct selected practical sessions under guidance.
• Gradually develop the ability to conduct workshops independently.
• Support cybersecurity-related projects and practical activities.
Required Knowledge
• Basic networking concepts.
• Basic Linux and Windows knowledge.
• Basic web and HTTP/HTTPS concepts.
• Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with Kali Linux.
• Basic hands-on knowledge of Nmap and Burp Suite.
Preferred
• Cybersecurity certification or practical cybersecurity training.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Hack The Box, TryHackMe, PortSwigger Web Security Academy, or CTFs.
• Previous experience with technical presentations, workshops, mentoring, or training is an advantage.
Skills
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Confidence in interacting with students.
• Interest in cybersecurity training and ethical hacking.
• Willingness to learn and develop as a cybersecurity trainer.
Future Opportunity
Based on technical competency and performance, the intern may receive opportunities to conduct training and workshops independently and gain exposure to VAPT, web application security, API security, and other cybersecurity activities.

Internship Details

Stipend: ₹5,000 per month
An internship completion certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the internship requirements.
All cybersecurity activities will be conducted only in authorized training, laboratory, or explicitly authorized environments.
