About the role
experts by shift is a data annotation platform where contributors annotate video data to create high-quality training datasets for advanced AI systems. The work involves applying expert judgment, following detailed guidelines, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and consistency.
What you'll do
Review first-person video recordings of people performing everyday physical tasks:
Quality Control: Review recordings against written standards and determine whether they meet high-quality requirements.
Action Labelling: Label (write) key actions seen in the video in English and capture the start/end points of each action with 99% accuracy.
Apply Guidelines: Consistently follow written instructions and flag unclear or ambiguous footage.
Who we're looking for
Strong written and spoken English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.
Comfortable having work reviewed and scored against defined quality standards.
No prior AI or annotation experience required. Training is provided.
Engagement & compensation
Hours: 20-40 hours/week
Location: Remote (India only)
Duration: 1-3 months initially, with extension opportunities for strong performers and opportunity to level up to become Video labeling Reviewers.
Pay: Approximately ~₹30,000 to 40,000 per month for the initial project upon meeting performance requirements.
Payment: Bi-weekly via bank transfer against logged hours and accepted work.
Requirements: Personal laptop and stable internet connection. Software and tool access are provided.
Selection process
