Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting to provide immediate, hands-on support for close stabilization and general accounting execution across U.S. and international entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute monthly and quarterly close activities across U.S. and international entities, including accruals, prepaids, reclasses, intercompany activity, fixed assets, and AP-related entries.
Prepare, post, and review journal entries; perform balance-sheet reconciliations; investigate variances; and resolve aged or unsupported items.
Support general ledger, corporate accounting, consolidations, intercompany accounting, entity reporting, and related operational accounting activities, including exposure to AP/AR, revenue, cost, inventory, or other subledger activity.
Review supporting schedules and transaction-level detail, maintain close checklists and process documentation, and support audit requests by preparing schedules and responding to questions.
Surface close blockers early, identify owners, and drive issues through resolution. ERP implementation and systems-project support are outside the scope of this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10–15+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, controllership, or accounting operations.
Experienced in month-end and quarter-end close within a multi-entity environment, including U.S. GAAP and international or statutory accounting requirements.
