Role Description
We are seeking a Blockchain Fund Strategy Specialist to support investment research, fund strategy, digital-asset analysis, and portfolio intelligence across the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem. This role will combine blockchain industry knowledge with investment research and strategic analysis to identify opportunities across digital assets, blockchain companies, protocols, DeFi, tokenization, and emerging Web3 technologies.
The specialist will work at the intersection of blockchain technology, crypto markets, investment strategy, and portfolio research, helping develop structured frameworks for evaluating digital-asset opportunities and blockchain-focused investment themes.
Responsibilities
• Research blockchain companies, digital assets, crypto projects, protocols, and Web3 investment opportunities
• Develop research frameworks for blockchain-focused fund and portfolio strategies
• Analyze digital assets across Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, stablecoins, tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure
• Evaluate tokenomics, market positioning, adoption, technology, competitive landscape, and ecosystem growth
• Monitor cryptocurrency market trends, liquidity, volatility, capital flows, and on-chain activity
• Conduct due diligence and comparative analysis of blockchain startups, protocols, and digital-asset projects
• Analyze portfolio allocation, diversification, concentration, liquidity, and risk exposure
• Track developments in decentralized finance, NFT infrastructure, smart contracts, digital ownership, and blockchain payments
• Prepare investment research reports, market intelligence briefs, portfolio analyses, and strategic presentations
• Identify emerging opportunities at the intersection of blockchain technology and financial markets
• Build market intelligence databases, research models, dashboards, and analytical frameworks
• Monitor venture funding, partnerships, protocol developments, and institutional adoption across the Web3 ecosystem
• Collaborate with blockchain developers, technology strategists, researchers, and business teams
• Translate complex blockchain and market information into clear strategic insights
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, investment research, portfolio analysis, fintech, venture capital, or financial markets
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and digital-asset markets
• Knowledge of fund strategy, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment research
• Familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, smart contracts, Layer 1/Layer 2 networks, stablecoins, and tokenization
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and research capabilities
• Ability to evaluate blockchain projects from both technology and investment perspectives
• Experience with financial modeling, market-data tools, Excel, or blockchain analytics platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to organize complex information and produce high-quality research
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• CFA, CAIA, blockchain, Web3, or related certifications are a plus

Compensation
$125,000–$145,000 per year, depending on experience, blockchain expertise, investment research capabilities, and relevant portfolio strategy experience.
