Senior Interior Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role based in Ranchi. The Senior Interior Designer will lead design projects from concept through completion, including developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards for residential, commercial, and corporate clients. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating architectural details, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that align with client requirements and budget. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their needs, presenting design proposals, and collaborating with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution. The Senior Interior Designer will also mentor junior designers, maintain design standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes within the firm.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, develop, and review detailed plans.
Experience with FF&E selection and specification, ensuring cohesive design and alignment with project budgets and timelines.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in interior design, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
Effective communication and presentation abilities, including client-facing experience and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
