Role Description The Branch Manager role at Generali Central Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Branch Manager oversees day-to-day branch operations, including managing sales and service activities, supervising branch staff, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for driving business growth through new customer acquisition, retention of existing clients, and effective cross-selling of insurance products. The Branch Manager monitors branch performance, prepares regular reports, and uses data to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. The position also involves building strong relationships with customers, local partners, and internal teams, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising teams and driving performance.
Proficiency in branch operations, sales management, and customer service within financial services or insurance.
Solid understanding of general insurance products, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
Ability to analyze performance metrics, manage budgets, and implement operational improvements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in branch management or a similar leadership role in insurance or banking is highly beneficial.
Comfort with using CRM systems, office productivity tools, and digital channels to manage branch activities.
