📣 USYF is looking for a Research & Impact Agent!
Are you curious, creative, and interested in research, youth issues, and social impact? Do you enjoy learning about important topics, finding meaningful insights, and helping turn ideas into engaging content? If so, we’d love to have you join us!
The United States Youth Forum (USYF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering historically marginalized and underserved young people to engage in youth-led civic initiatives. We connect young people with their communities, encourage productive civic participation, and inspire them to create the changes they wish to see in the world.
🎯 About the Role
As a Research & Impact Agent, you’ll support USYF’s research, impact, and content work. You’ll help explore topics relevant to young people and USYF’s mission while contributing to projects that help us understand, communicate, and expand our impact.
Depending on USYF’s current priorities, your work may include supporting impact reports, research projects, blog content, our USYF magazine, and other written or multimedia content.
This is a great opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional looking to gain practical experience across research, nonprofit communications, and social impact.
💼 What You’ll Do
Conduct research on topics relevant to youth, civic engagement, and USYF’s work
Support the collection and organization of information for impact reports and organizational projects
Assist with developing blogs, magazine content, and other research-informed materials
Help identify interesting findings, trends, and ideas that can inform USYF’s work
Support research and preparation for multimedia content when relevant
Collaborate with USYF team members on research, impact, and content projects
Please note: Responsibilities may evolve based on organizational priorities. This is a flexible, collaborative role, and opportunities will vary depending on USYF’s current projects.

Is curious and enjoys researching and learning about new topics
Has strong writing, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Is creative and interested in finding new ways to communicate ideas
Is organized, reliable, and attentive to detail
Can work collaboratively with a remote team
Is passionate about youth empowerment, civic engagement, and social impact
Experience with research, writing, communications, data, or content creation is a plus — but students and early-career applicants are encouraged to apply!
