Role Overview
We are seeking a Graphic & Creative Designer to own how RoboStrategy looks. This is a dual mandate covering institutional design work, including our investor deck, research publications, charts and data visualization, and brand creative work across our website, social channels and video. Graphics are a large part of what separates institutional-grade material from everything else, and this role owns that standard.
We are hiring for talent and trajectory above all else. We would rather take someone with real ability and the judgment to put it to work than someone with a longer resume, and we expect this role to grow substantially as the firm does. You should be a self-starter who can take an idea and return a finished graphic without being walked through it, genuinely AI-native in how you work, and above all someone with real taste. Your portfolio is how we will judge that, so send us the work you are proudest of.
What You’ll Do
• Design our investor and research materials. Own the investor deck, research publications, conference presentations and thought-leadership pieces, from first draft to final export.
• Turn complex information into clear visuals. Translate technical and financial concepts into intuitive charts, market maps, diagrams and data visualizations that work for expert and non-expert audiences alike.
• Build and own our design system. Establish and maintain the typography, color, chart styles, templates and asset libraries that keep every output consistent, and make them usable by the wider team.
• Create brand and social creative. Produce the social assets, campaign graphics and visual content that carry the brand across our channels.
• Keep the website sharp. Handle design updates and content changes on our Framer site, working alongside our external partners.
• Help with video where you can. A bonus rather than an expectation. We work with specialist video partners, so if you bring editing or motion ability there is real scope to use it.
• Use AI as leverage, with judgment. Build repeatable generative workflows that stay on brand, and know when the tools are the wrong answer.
• Work within a public-market framework. Partner with compliance and legal so that public-facing material meets the standards applicable to a listed fund.
Core Qualifications
• A portfolio link is required and is the most important part of your application. Send finished work such as decks, charts, brand systems and campaign assets, and be prepared to talk through the decisions behind it.
• Professional design experience is useful but not the filter. We are open on years served, including candidates early in their careers, provided the work is exceptional. Show us what you have made and we will weigh it on merit.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or financial concepts into clear visual form. Charts, data visualization and information design are central to this role.
• Strong fundamentals in composition, typography, color and layout, with the taste to tell good work from work that merely looks finished.
• Fluency in Figma, which is where our materials are built. Experience with Framer, or the ability to learn it quickly, as our website runs on it.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Motion, animation or video editing ability is welcome but not required. We are hiring primarily for design craft.
• Genuine fluency with generative AI tools, and a clear method for keeping output on brand. We are more interested in how you keep quality high than in which tools you name.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• A self-starter who takes an idea and returns a finished asset, rather than a series of questions.
• Fast without being careless. Much of this work is deadline-driven and public-facing, and accuracy matters as much as aesthetics.
• A systems thinker who builds templates and workflows the rest of the team can use, not only one-off assets.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and taking direction from people who are not designers.
• Genuine interest in robotics and frontier technology.
• Ambitious about scope. This role will expand as the firm grows, and we want someone who intends to grow with it.
• Non-traditional backgrounds are welcome. What matters is the quality of the work you can show us.
