Job Description
SECTION1:MAIN DUTIESSystems/Operations
Ensures Guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources. Lead role in implementation of PM programs, energy conservation programs, Health safety & environmental issues.
Effectively implement systems & procedures that ensure safetyof visitors, employees, plant, machinery and property.
Ensures reliable, quality, efficient andcost effective engineering services to allthe customers including internal & external.
Liaise withgovernment agencies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Forecasting & Control on spares, Manpower & Material Planning, Co-ordination with accounts for cam calculation and billing to the licensees.
Energy Conservation & Engineering Budget.
Optimizes savings in energy expenses by implementing energyconservation programs.
Monitors HLP consumption on a dailybasis.
Ensures PM schedules implementations.
Monitors R&Mexpenses on a regular basis.
Ensures that area of operation meetshigh class service standards to the Guests and other department.
Establishes and ensures adherence to key systems andprocedures in engineering area.
Recommends changes in system and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service.
Responsible for implementations of systems and procedures which ensures safety for Guests, employees, plant, machinery and property.
Responsible for maintaining records& documents as per organizational requirements.
Encourages development of multi-functionality amongthe subordinates.
Usesappraisalsystemtoreviewtheperformanceofdirectsubordinatesanddeterminestheirdevelopmentneeds.
Ensuresdepartmentemployeesarefullytrainedthroughconstanttrainings.
Ensuresattendanceonbehavioralandvocationaltrainingsinown&relatedareastoenhanceskills&encouragemulti-functionality.
Ensuresdepartmentemployeesarefullytrainedonallthesystems &procedurestoensuresafetyrequirements.
Counselssubordinatesinpersonal&workrelatedmatters.
Ensurescareerdevelopment&successionplanningforsubordinates
Recommendshiring,promotion,increments,disciplinaryaction,performancerelatedsalaryincrementsforallsubordinates.
Reviewtheperformanceofdirectsubordinates&determinetheirdevelopmentneeds.
Motivates&encouragesteambuildinginengineeringdepartment.
