Role Description The Deputy Manager role at Adani Power Limited in Raigarh is a full-time, on-site position focused on supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of power plant activities. This role typically involves overseeing day-to-day operations within a designated function, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. The Deputy Manager assists in planning and executing maintenance schedules, optimizing processes, resolving operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and hands-on involvement in field and office activities.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in power plant operations, maintenance, or related industrial sectors, with strong understanding of safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Ability to manage day-to-day operational tasks, coordinate cross-functional activities, and support process optimization and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, including proficiency with standard office and industry-specific software tools.
Effective leadership and team coordination capabilities, with skills in communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in the power generation or heavy industrial sector, particularly in on-site plant roles, is preferred.
Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment, adapt to operational demands, and uphold high standards of safety and integrity.
