Breaker / Community Lead: Live Shopping, Whatnot, Reseller Communities, Creator Partnerships

Introduction
Shield is hiring one Breaker / Community Lead to run our presence in live shopping. Whatnot rooms, Discord servers, live sales.
We are looking for someone who already sells in these rooms or runs the community around them. The work is commercial. You host rooms under Shield’s name, you build relationships with high volume sellers and breakers, and you bring the ones who need better banking to us.
Your category does not matter. Cards, electronics, sneakers, toys, comics, anything that moves on a live stream. This is one seat, and the scope grows with what you build.

Our customers are importers, exporters and wholesalers moving USD across borders. Sellers doing volume on live platforms buy and resell the same kind of inventory at a faster pace. Reaching them takes an operator who already sells in those rooms.
Who We’re Looking For
Established sellers, breakers, and community operators in live shopping. Someone the rooms already know. Category is open: cards, electronics, sneakers, toys, comics, and anything else that sells live.
You should have:
An established record as a breaker or seller, or you run or moderate an active seller community such as a Whatnot channel or a Discord server
Monthly sales volume in the five to six figure range, or a direct line to the sellers doing it
Standing in the rooms. People answer when you talk
Working knowledge of how live selling operates: show formats, fee structures, payout timing, and what sellers complain about
Comfort talking to business owners about money
This is a remote contract role with flexible hours, built around the hours rooms actually run.
Role Responsibilities
As Breaker / Community Lead, you will:
Host and run live rooms for Shield on Whatnot
Build relationships with high volume sellers and breakers across categories
Introduce sellers to Shield’s business banking and credit products
Represent Shield in the Discord servers and seller communities where sellers already talk
Report back what you hear: what sellers need, where payments break, and which platforms matter next
Keep a record of who you spoke to and what came of it
