Lil’ Angels Photography is looking for a talented remote photo editor to help with seasonal school portrait editing.
We photograph children in preschools and childcare centers, and we are looking for someone who can edit with a clean, natural, polished style. This is not heavy beauty retouching — we want children to still look like themselves, just with beautiful color, clean backgrounds, tidy details, and a consistent professional finish.
This is a remote contractor role with project-based pay.
What you’ll edit
You would be helping with school portrait sets that may include:
Individual child portraits
Sibling portraits
Graduation portraits
Light background cleanup
Floor/rug cleanup
Flyaway hair cleanup
Minor clothing fixes
Natural skin cleanup
Color correction and consistency
Cropping and straightening
Final gallery-ready polish
What we’re looking for
The right person is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable editing children’s portraits in Photoshop.
You should have experience with:
Adobe Photoshop
Lightroom or Camera Raw
Color correction
Portrait retouching
Background cleanup
Batch consistency across a full gallery
Meeting deadlines during busy seasons
We are especially looking for someone who understands natural editing. We do not want plastic skin, over-smoothed faces, unrealistic eyes, or overly filtered images.
Pay
Pay starts at $50 USD per completed school set, with the opportunity to increase based on quality, consistency, speed, and fall-season volume.
This can become ongoing seasonal work for the right person.
Schedule
This is remote and flexible, but turnaround time matters. During our busy fall and spring seasons, we need editors who can communicate clearly and complete work on schedule.
Confidentiality
Because we photograph children, confidentiality is extremely important. Selected editors will be required to sign a contractor agreement and confidentiality agreement. Images may not be used in portfolios, shared online, saved for personal use, or redistributed in any way.
Qualified applicants may be asked to complete a small paid editing test so we can confirm style and consistency.
