Interior Client & Vendor Coordinator

Location: Sector 65, Golf Course Extension Road, Gurugram
Salary: Up to ₹70,000/month

About the Position
Cane & Clay is looking for a Client Relations & Interior Sourcing Manager who can confidently represent the company while coordinating client requirements, designers, vendors and sourcing partners.
The person will primarily work around client communication and sourcing for interior projects.
This is not a direct-sales role and does not involve extensive site supervision or conventional construction project management.
You will work closely with clients to understand what they require, coordinate internally with the design team and help identify and organize suitable furniture, materials, finishes and products from relevant vendors and sourcing partners.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong day-to-day communication with assigned clients.
Understand client preferences and project requirements.
Coordinate requirements with the design and internal teams.
Source appropriate furniture, materials, décor, finishes and other products.
Research and coordinate with new and existing vendors.
Obtain product details, catalogues, samples, quotations and availability information.
Coordinate product selections and approvals with clients and designers.
Follow up with vendors and internal teams on pending requirements.
Maintain sourcing trackers and client requirement records.
Coordinate meetings, sourcing visits and vendor discussions.
Travel for sourcing and client requirements when needed.
Understand basic interior plans, layouts, measurements and drawings sufficiently to coordinate requirements accurately.
Present options and information to clients clearly and professionally.
Keep management updated on important client requirements, sourcing progress and pending decisions.

Background
A degree specifically in interior design is not required.

Relevant industry experience is beneficial, but communication ability, confidence, ownership and willingness to learn the interior sourcing process are more important.

Does not carry conventional sales targets.
Is not primarily a site-supervision role.
Does not require the candidate to independently design interiors.
Does not require BOQ preparation or detailed cost estimation.
The role is centred around clients, sourcing and coordination.
