Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Gudivada. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers, including MSMEs and SMEs, by understanding their financing needs and offering appropriate lending solutions. Daily activities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, conducting regular meetings and follow-ups, assessing credit requirements, and coordinating with internal credit and operations teams to ensure timely disbursal of loans. The role involves monitoring account performance, managing risk by tracking repayments and early warning signals, and supporting customers with queries and issue resolution. The Relationship Manager will also contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, meeting sales targets, and ensuring high service standards aligned with Arka’s customer-centric approach.
Qualifications
Strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
Proficiency in credit assessment, financial analysis, and understanding of lending products for MSMEs and SMEs.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with diverse customer segments and internal stakeholders.
Solid organizational and time management abilities, including maintaining accurate records, pipelines, and follow-up schedules.
Knowledge of NBFC operations, local market dynamics in Gudivada, and regulatory guidelines relevant to lending.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
Prior experience in relationship management, business banking, or SME lending is preferred.
Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems, and the ability to work collaboratively within branch and regional teams.
