About FunnelFox
FunnelFox is a no-code platform that helps app developers grow revenue through web2app funnels. Launched two years ago, it’s already showing impressive growth. Marketers and product managers can build, launch, and optimize funnels in hours instead of months, all without writing a single line of code.
About The Role
As FunnelFox grows, so does the complexity of our data.
We’re building our analytics foundation with our own data warehouse, dbt, and Airflow. Now we’re looking for a strong analyst who can turn messy source data into trusted business logic, clear marts, and usable dashboards.
You’ll work closely with our Analytics Lead and Data Engineer, primarily across Billing & Payments. Your work will power both internal decision-making and client-facing reporting, so accuracy and trust in data are critical.
Your main focus will be the business layer of analytics: marts, metric logic, and datasets behind reporting. You won’t own ingestion or raw-layer pipelines, but you should be comfortable investigating source systems, identifying gaps, and defining clear upstream requirements.
This is an IC role for someone comfortable with ambiguity and building analytics while the system itself is still evolving.
What You’ll Do
Own analytical problems end to end: turn ambiguous business questions into trusted analytical results.
Define and validate metric logic: establish how key metrics are calculated, reconcile results against source systems, and prevent misleading numbers from reaching stakeholders or clients.
Bring structure to messy data: investigate APIs, source tables, and existing reporting logic to understand what is useful, missing, or unreliable.
Build business-facing marts: own the analytical logic behind datasets used for dashboards, reporting, and decision-making.
Shape upstream engineering requirements: define what needs to change when raw data or lower-layer models don’t support reliable analytics.
Improve analytics consistency: reduce duplicated logic and dashboard drift through reusable datasets, clear ownership, and documentation.
Partner across the business: work closely with the Analytics Lead, Data Engineer, Product, CS, Marketing, and Finance.
What we’re looking for
Strong SQL and analytical thinking: you can explore messy data, validate logic, spot edge cases, and build reliable datasets.
Strong ownership and metric sense: you can work from vague questions, define meaningful metrics, compare methodologies, and explain discrepancies.
Broad analytics experience: you’ve worked across product, business, or revenue analytics — including product usage, funnels, operational, reporting, or financial metrics.
Experience with dbt or a close equivalent: you understand modular modeling, marts, dependencies, and maintainable business logic.
Ability to work across B2B and B2C logic: from customer-level business metrics to end-user or lead behavior.
Ability to translate data complexity into engineering requirements: you can identify what needs to change upstream and explain why.
High standards for data quality and collaboration: you validate outputs, document assumptions, and work effectively across technical and business teams.
Nice to have
Experience in B2B SaaS and client-facing reporting
Experience with billing, payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, or reconciliation
Experience with product analytics and behavioral data
Experience with systems thinking or data systems design
Experience working with API data structures and Data Engineers on warehouse design
ClickHouse experience
What you may expect from working with us:
Flexible remote work: Work from anywhere with a schedule that fits your life. Our core team operates in Europe, and we welcome candidates worldwide using Deel.com.
High ownership and real impact: You’ll actively influence product and technical decisions, not just execute predefined tasks.
Fast-moving startup environment: We value speed, autonomy, and practical problem-solving over rigid corporate processes.
Direct communication: We keep things simple and transparent, ensuring you focus on what matters most — getting things done.
Professional Support: We provide a monthly budget that you can allocate based on your personal and professional priorities — including language learning, professional development, mental health support, sports, or health insurance.
