Associate, Founder's Office

This is a Founder's Office role, working directly and closely with the founder day to day. The core mandate right now: make sure the founder executes on what he commits to, every day, without delay.
We're hiring someone whose core job is to make sure the founder executes on what he commits to, every day, without delay. This is a founder who moves fast and wants to move faster, this role exists to remove any gap between deciding something and actually doing it. You'll be present throughout the working day, primarily via Slack, with scheduled Zoom check-ins, so progress is tracked in real time, not reviewed after the fact.
What You'll Actually Do
Be present and responsive throughout the working day, not just during one scheduled call, so the founder always knows progress is being watched in real time.
Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals together with the founder, and follow up on each one on its own cadence.
Ask sharp, specific questions and expect real answers, real numbers, real deliverables, not vague updates or reasons why something is still in progress.
Bring clarity when priorities get fuzzy, and push firmly and warmly to get the founder back on track the same day something starts slipping, not a week later.
Act as a mentor and a partner in speed, holding a high standard while being genuinely supportive, this is a relationship built on trust, not surveillance.
Maintain full confidentiality given the closeness of this working relationship.
What We're Looking For
Sharp and perceptive enough that you can't be talked past with a vague update or a good excuse, you know the difference between real progress and a well-worded delay.
A naturally warm, direct communicator, someone people want to be accountable to, not someone they avoid.
Comfortable being present and responsive throughout the day, not just during a single scheduled check-in.
Strong personal organization, able to track daily, weekly, and monthly goals at once without anything quietly slipping through.
Prior experience in coaching, performance management, executive assistance, or another high-trust, high-frequency working relationship is a strong plus.
State clearly in your application whether you're looking for full-time or a flexible/part-time arrangement, both are genuinely open for the right person.
