Director of Project Management

Role Description The Director of Project Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and programs across multiple business units. This role includes leading project managers and cross-functional teams, defining project scopes and timelines, and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Daily responsibilities involve setting project governance standards, monitoring budgets and resource allocation, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans to keep initiatives on track. The Director will drive process improvement, establish best practices, and maintain clear communication with senior leadership and stakeholders through regular status reports and performance metrics. Collaboration with operations, finance, and technical teams is essential to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
Candidates should possess Program Management experience to oversee multiple initiatives and align them with organizational strategy.
Candidates should possess Budgeting and financial management skills to plan, track, and optimize project and program costs.
Candidates should possess Team Leadership capabilities to guide project teams, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Candidates should possess Process Improvement skills to design, refine, and implement efficient workflows and project governance frameworks.
Relevant experience in multidisciplinary or service-oriented environments (e.g., technology, logistics, catering, or related sectors) is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Prince2) are advantageous.
Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in project management tools and remote collaboration platforms.
