HISA Coach Job Description
The Highlands & Islands Squash Association supports the growth of the sport in the Highlands region and is managed by a board of Trustees. In partnership with Scottish Squash and sportscotland, Sutherland Squash Club and HISA are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Coach Developer to support squash coaches/clubs across the Highland region.
The Role
The role will provide accessible and consistent mentoring and development to coaches who can face challenges accessing support due to the geographical size and rural nature of the Highlands. The Coach Developer will work with coaches to build confidence, improve coaching practice, develop sustainable club programmes and increase coaching capacity. A particular focus will be on juniors and women & girls participation, alongside developing a connected network of coaches across the region.
Location: Highland region, with a blend of in-person and online support
Salary: Circa £12,000 (based on an average of 10 hours per week)
Contract: This position is for an initial 3 year consultancy role
The role is a part-time position (based on 10 hours per week)
Working hours are flexible
This role may require occasional weekend and evening work
