Role Description
The Legal Assistant / Client Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible working with attorneys and delivering exceptional client service. This position involves preparing, reviewing, and organizing corporate documents; maintaining case files; preparing and recording deeds, and assisting with forms, correspondence, and routine filings.
The role requires frequent communication with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings to gather information, provide updates, schedule appointments, and address general inquiries. In addition, the Legal Assistant / Client Specialist handles administrative tasks such as data entry, calendar coordination, and document management within firm systems.
This position requires strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Success in this role depends on effective collaboration with attorneys and team members to ensure matters progress efficiently and clients feel supported throughout the process.

What We’re Looking For
• Foundational knowledge of law and legal processes, with experience or coursework relevant to supporting attorneys or a legal practice.
• Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, proofreading, and organizing legal forms and correspondence.
• Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and professional client interaction.
• Experience providing administrative assistance, such as managing calendars, handling data entry, organizing files, and managing digital records.
• Prior experience as a legal assistant or in a similar supporting role within a law firm or legal department is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working in a remote environment, with reliable internet access and the ability to use case management and communication software.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical handling of sensitive client information.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or similar legal training is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
• Experience with Salesforce, Adobe, and Simplifile preferred
• Available to work 40 hours per week during business hours

Compensation & Schedule
• $25 per hour
• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
• Temporary position (up to 90 days), with potential for permanent placement based on performance
