Role Description The Account Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves managing existing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients in tooling, automotive, engineering, and industrial sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inquiries, preparing quotations, following up on orders, coordinating with internal teams for pricing, inventory, and delivery, and ensuring accurate documentation. The Account Executive will monitor sales pipelines, support negotiations, and provide regular updates and reports on account performance. This role also requires understanding customer requirements, aligning them with appropriate metal and steel solutions, and contributing to overall sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and relationship building.
Ability to understand industrial materials, metal products, and basic technical specifications.
Proficiency in communication, presentation, and customer service, with a focus on clear, professional interactions.
Competence in using office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM or sales tracking software, email) for reporting and coordination.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through on orders and commitments.
Prior experience in steel, metals, or industrial products sales is highly beneficial; experience in B2B environments is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with operations, logistics, and finance teams and to adapt in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
