Pay Rate: Up to $30/hr
Contract Length: 3–4 months initially; potential conversion
Overview:
A financial services organization is seeking multiple Financial Crime Analysts to support transaction monitoring and investigative activities for banking and fintech clients. This role will investigate customer and transaction activity, identify potential financial crime concerns, and produce clear, well-supported case narratives. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working within established AML procedures, and able to use AI-enabled tools while applying independent investigative judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate customer activity, transactions, counterparties, and related information to identify potential financial crime concerns.
Review and disposition AML alerts using established investigative procedures.
Distinguish legitimate activity and false positives from transactions requiring additional investigation or escalation.
Leverage AI-enabled investigative tools to support research, transaction analysis, and narrative development.
Independently validate AI-generated findings and apply sound investigative judgment before reaching conclusions.
Prepare clear, concise, and defensible investigative narratives suitable for quality review and regulatory scrutiny.
Maintain complete and accurate case documentation within the applicable case management system.
Identify unusual activity, investigative gaps, and recurring issues that may warrant additional review.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to communicate investigative trends, edge cases, and opportunities for process or technology improvements.
