Position Summary
The Network Damage Intake Coordinator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end processing and recovery of costs associated with damage to telecommunications network infrastructure caused by third parties.
This role reviews documentation submitted by field and emergency repair teams, including photographs, ticket information, repair notes, locate records, and supporting documentation, to determine whether a recoverable claim can be established. The Coordinator will organize and process claim information within designated recovery systems and track cases through resolution.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable reviewing documentation, and able to manage multiple claims and follow-up activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review damage documentation submitted by field and emergency repair teams, including photographs, repair records, locate tickets, field notes, and supporting documentation.
Process and maintain damage recovery records within designated systems and workflows.
Review available documentation to assist in identifying the party responsible for network damage.
Evaluate incidents involving contractors, construction crews, locating vendors, municipalities, and other third parties.
Compile supporting documentation and repair costs to establish recoverable claims.
Generate and process work orders, invoices, and other recovery documentation for responsible third parties or their insurance carriers.
Track claims from initial submission through payment and resolution.
Follow up on outstanding invoices, documentation requests, and unresolved claims.
Escalate disputed claims or other issues requiring additional review.
Maintain accurate and complete records of claim activity, correspondence, payments, and case status.
Identify recurring damage trends or repeat third-party incidents and communicate relevant information to appropriate internal teams.
Coordinate with field operations, damage prevention, recovery, and other internal teams as needed.
Ensure assigned cases are processed accurately and within established timelines.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable company policies and procedures.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Schedule & Work Requirements
Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Work schedule may consist of five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, based on business needs.
Scheduled hours will generally fall between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
Schedule flexibility may be required based on operational needs.
Role-specific training will be provided.
